Meet Ashley Patton, M.S., BCBA
Ashley Patton is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and former elementary teacher with over 15 years of experience in education. She earned her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Ashley first discovered behavior analysis while trying to figure out how to better support a few particularly challenging students one year. What began as a search for strategies quickly grew into a lifelong passion. After gaining experience in clinic and home settings, her heart pulled her back to schools—where her love for teaching and behavior analysis could finally come together.
She founded Class on Task, helping teachers understand why behavior happens and helping BCBAs better navigate the school setting. Through Class on Task, she provides custom workshops, online courses, and ready-to-use resources. She also leads The Class on Task: Behavior Analysts in Schools Summit, a two-day virtual event uniting hundreds of BCBAs passionate about improving how ABA is implemented in education and driving meaningful change across school systems.
Ashley is the co-founder of BARC (Behavior Analyst Resource Center), an idea sparked after years of saying, “We need a TpT for ABA!” Together with her friend Hallie, they brought that idea to life, creating a platform where BCBAs can share, sell, and access high-quality digital ABA resources.
Ashley’s biggest reinforcer is family time. With two young boys, life moves fast, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. Her family loves Disney days, beach trips, and boat rides, and she recharges best when she’s outdoors.
