This 5 Category Animal Matching Activity from Club ABA gives learners the opportunity to practice matching identical items using both real-life animal photos and cartoon animal images. Mix and match the cartoon and real photos to practice non-identical matching.

Each category contains: Two matching worksheets with 6 animal photos (one with real photos, and one with cartoons) and two sheets with corresponding matching pieces.

How to Use

Print the 20-page PDF (single sided), cut out the matching pieces and have the learner match each piece to the corresponding animal.

This resource is great for ABA sessions, early learners, discrete trial training (DTT), classroom activities, therapy settings, or home practice.

*Tip: For repeated use, laminate the matching worksheets. Cut and laminate the corresponding matching pieces. Add a strip of velcro on the top/bottom of each animal on the matching worksheet, and a piece of velcro on the back of each matching piece.
