Ethics Scenarios and Discussion Questions

These ethical scenarios are designed to promote critical thinking and application of the BACB Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts (2022). Supervisors can present one or more scenarios during meetings or group supervision to encourage discussion, identify relevant code elements, and explore possible courses of action. Supervisees should be prompted to justify their reasoning, reflect on real-world implications, and consider how they would document or respond in similar situations. This activity supports ethical fluency, professional judgment, and adherence to BACB standards.
