Talking Tickets – Disney

@ Ashley Patton

Do you have a student, or maybe more that are super chatty? You don’t want to discourage them from sharing stories or participating, but you also want to make sure other students are getting equal chances to participate.

I suggest picking a specific time or activity of your day to try this first. If it were me, I would suggest circle time, especially if you teach the littles! I absolutely love hearing their stories and how they have a personal story for every page of the book you’re reading or lesson you’re teaching, but we still need to teach and we want to hear others’ amazing stories too.

You can pass out a specified number of talk tickets per student. I recommend trying out 2-3 and seeing how that goes and adjusting as needed. Students learn to pick and choose when to share their stories. This could be helpful for some adults too right? Just kidding! I hope you enjoy this resource! For other talking ticket themes, check out our other products!

If you have a successful classroom management system for obtaining your students’ attention quickly, you will save time and your voice!
