Token Chart – Harry Potter Theme

Token charts are an excellent tool to help motivated your students to complete their work and stay on task. When you first start using token charts, it is important to teach that earning the token results in something rewarding. At first, you may need to start with just requiring the student to do one task to earn one token to earn the reward. Then you can slowly increase to 3, 4, 5, etc.

We understand that it’s not possible to provide as much reinforcement all the time for all your students. Token charts help a lot with solving this issue! Once your students learn to use token charts, you can increase the work requirement, at the same time increasing the students’ independence.
